Isabel is a bit difficult to get a hold of but that’s probably because she does amazing work. She successfully re-upholstered six of our dining room chairs and went the extra mile to tighten the nuts and bolts that were not touched for the past 18-years! For a small fee, her team picked up the chairs and delivered them back to us within a couple of days. She was professional, sent invoices, and demonstrated excellent craftsmanship. We are looking forward to giving her more projects sometime in the near future!

I brought Isabel my 40 year old chair to re-upholster. When she brought it back, it looked beautiful, but it wasn’t super comfortable. So she re-did the chair (didn’t charge me any extra for the extra fabric needed), brought it back and it was much, much better. It took a while to re-do, but the wait was worth it. I would definitely go back to her for future upholstery.

We had an ottoman and the top was probably covered in “pleather” – yeah, I’m being generous. After about 5 years it was showing it’s wear and tear and our instinct was to get it redone in something nice and sturdy like real leather. Imagine the sticker shock when we learned how much a quality job with real leather would actually cost. Way more than the ottoman was even worth. Enter Gamino Upholstery and Isabel. She gave us lots of options and was extremely helpful. We could have purchased fabric/leather somewhere else and had her do the work if that’s what would have worked best. In the end she showed us some great, durable fabric that was like leather but much more in line with our budget. The work was done quickly, it looks beautiful, and her estimate was well under any of the other places we looked at. I can see why she has so many 5 star reviews, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring her other projects.
